Comments, mentions, and inbox
Commenting
Section titled “Commenting”Comments support constrained markdown (headings, emphasis, code, lists, quotes, safe
links) with a Write/Preview toggle. Type @ to mention a teammate — they are notified
and start following the item. Files staged in the composer upload after the comment
commits, so a failed upload never loses your words.
Following
Section titled “Following”Commenting or being mentioned auto-follows an item; the Follow button does it manually. Followers get inbox notifications for new comments and assignments.
Notifications group by day with an All/Unread filter. Opening one marks it read and jumps to the item (split pane, context preserved); Mark read clears it without navigating; Mark all read clears everything.
Keyboard triage: J/K move through notifications, E marks the focused one read.
The sidebar inbox badge updates in near-realtime (server-sent events with a polling fallback).
